INSECT ACTIVITY CALENDER
Insect (pest) activity levels can vary throughout the year or be continuous. This is dependant on the
surrounding conditions, environment and the availability of a food source. These levels can range from
'no activity' to 'low activity' and in some cases 'high activity'. In pest control and prevention it is
important to recognise these variations in the activity and when they occur. This information is of use
when preparing to carry out pest mangement services.
